Re: Craigslist wrecked my truck!!
I just upgraded mine from a 64 amp to a 94 amp.
I couldnt tell from the pics if you were running a higher amp alt, like most of the things i have read say to do with the electric fan upgrade. thanks for the input. FWIW.....autozone part # DL7294 is a 94 amp 12 SI Alternator ($90) for anyone that may be interested. it will bolt direclty in, but the wiring will need to be changed to a 3-wire set up which is an extremely simple upgrade. |

Re: Craigslist wrecked my truck!!
My frame off started as pulling the motor to degrease and repaint it and do a cam swap. Now the bare frame is in the garage surrounded by so many parts I can't walk... the bed is in the shed in the back yard apart and the cab is on a dolly in the driveway.

Re: Craigslist wrecked my truck!!
Rusted-out (below the battery tray) radiator core support that I was going to remove and weld up and put back on. Ordered a set of core support mounts and I was "done"... yeah right... two years and complete frame-off later I'm still working on it.
