Transmission crossmember
I saw a C10 71 truck w/auto trans at the junkyard I think is a 350 could I use it to install 700r4 at my C10 69

I think you can, but have to mount it farther back. The CPP crossmemeber is a bit more expensive than the junk yard special, but is so much easier to work with.

Yes, the TH350 crossmember works fine for a 700R4. Just bolt the trans to the crossmember and drill new holes in the frame rails where the corssmember sits.

Texas: I saw your build thread and I know I need finishing firstable the automatic conversion but I saw you install a suburban rear end five lugs and should be my next project, can you tell me what year can I use? the reason is here in San Diego every first days of the month there is a junk yard they sell parts 50% off. |

Today saturday I started to say good bay and RIP to my manual transmission but before install the 700s IŽve one more question, this crossmember was holding the bellhousing, do I need to remove it or need to be keep it. |

That crossmember needs to go. You'll end up with just the crossmember under the tail end of your new 700R4.
