NP 205 Mounts

I am going to replace my rockwell transfer case for a divorced NP205, I want twin stick control + it's a better case, it's going into a 62 chevy, do any of you have pictures of how you mounted that case in an earlier truck. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks, Larry

Re: NP 205 Mounts

You can make your own mounts out of some iron. That really isn't very hard, just take some measurements and center the driveshafts up. I really recommend that you mount the case dead center of both axles as you could always use the front if something happens to the rear to get you home. That's what we did on the 96'. If I remember, I will take some pics of the mounts off it tomorrow. Trevor

Re: NP 205 Mounts

I had a local metal shop make me one. Not sure if I have pics or not in my sig. But something else to consider, older Dodges that had this t-case have the same frame width as GMs, might be able to use that over a scratch built.
