Windshield washer tank aftermarket

I need pics of aftermarket windshield washer tanks with a pump attached to it. Where to buy, and do the hoses hookup to the factory nozzles. I have new hoses now. My new pump worked 5 times then stopped working. I put another new one on, and the same thing happened. The pump makes noise like it is pumping , but there is no water coming out. After I put the new pumps on I hit the switch, and they pumped water on the second try. Now it doesn't pump water no matter how many times I hit the switch. Or should I just hit it with a big hammer. :

You could keep your existing reservoir and hook up a universal washer pump. That's what I'm running, works off the stock wiper/washer switch.

Where did you buy the pump? And how do you hook it up?

I got the pump from JC Whitney. Hook up the red wire to the yellow hotwire on the the wiper motor. The ground wire to the middle blue wire on the jack that goes to the wiper switch. You'll also have to reroute new hoses going to the spout things under the cowl.

Thank you for the info on how to hook up the universal pumps electrically. We have always used a toggle switch, but the way you described sounds better.

We got our universal pumps at O'Rielly's, but I don't remember the part number. So far we have put one on three of our trucks and they work great.

Just a thought, did you check to see if there is water in the tank?

I saw this setup on Sinister's truck when he came by my house the other day. It is super clean and the only way to go IMO.

The tank is full. This is the 2nd. new pump. I think they are not built very well.

I went to NaPa today and bought a universal pump. I will install it in a day or two. I will use a toggle switch to operate it. It will be easier to connect the wires to the toggle switch then to the switch in the dash.
