Newbie from AZ

Located in Surprise AZ. Bought a 68' SB about 6 weeks ago. Found this site while looking for some ideas for new wheels.

My truck is a 68' short bed. I've owned it about 6 weeks. It needs just about everything. I've started replacing the wiring, ever harness has been hacked. Also have some suspension parts from Hotchkis. Don't know what the person who owned this prior was trying to accomplish but they jacked everything up.

As I said it's a 68' 1/2T. It has either 71' or 72' front sheet metal as well as the door panels. 350 ci with a 700r4 trans, unknown rear end. Lowered looks like a 2"-4" not sure. Possile original A/C, also has stablilizer set up in front end along with 3/4 ton front end parts. Currently painted Hot Rod gray.

Future plans are to make it a good reliable daily driver. I hope to become a fulltime automotive photographer in the near future and will use the truck as my "shop truck" and plan to paint it accordingly. I love the flat black look and will use yellow accents.

I look forward to wasting hours on this site.

My other ride is a 69' SS 396 Camaro. I hope to get a 67'-68' 2wd blazer I'd also like to pick up a 67' to 72' tow truck got some ideas for one of those.

Here's some pics of my truck and the last one is of the Camaro.

The Beast!!!

General idea for completed truck!
