when to c notch? when to use drop shocks?

I am thinking of doing an all spring 2/4 or 3/5 drop. When should you "c" notch the frame? when should you use drop shocks? Any issues with doing a 3/5 all spring drop? What about the use of a adjustable trackbar? I want to order what I need but not get upsold either. Thanks guys

Re: when to c notch? when to use drop shocks?

I've had better than half a dozen of these trucks all lowered 4.5/6 and never notched one of them. And, I use them plenty to haul.

In my opinion, lowered shocks and/or relocators are necessary when going 4 inches down or more in the rear.
