Looked to trade my good behind the seat gas tank with 2 yr old sending unit for a rusty gas tank. Plan on cutting the filler neck off and sticking it back in the hole in the cab. Just don't want to cut up a good tank. Thanks, Chris.

None of the shipping co.s seem to be willing to ship tanks that have ever used to hold fuel. I'll bet i've crushed dozens over the years, just to get rid of them. In other words.. Cut away.. Or pick up one local to cut up.

I was going to say the same thing....I have taken 2 tanks out in the past week that were bad. If you dont get a neck in a week sor so give me a shout and i will send you one. I will be up in that area in 2 months if you have not gotten tid of the good tank....I could use it for sure.
