Good job! Are you sure you haven't been in the wind tunnel working on the aero package? lol. That is some big mph for a truck.

12.4's is hauling! I agree....these trucks aren't ment to go 110. While mine will hit 110 pretty easy, it won't do it in a 1/4 mile....but is does feel scary, and the brakes don't work all that great.
BTW, Who won the race? You or the green car?

That's real impressive Jim. Does your truck hook up any better after you lowered it?

I sm running 17lbs in the et streets....and that makes for an interesting ride...It dosent seam to hook any better since lowering, but I did a few HP improvements, so its hard to tell. I need a cage at 10.99(no time soon..lol)...the green charger went 13.2..I went 12.6(But my reaction time was .493) meaning a red light. I had a hard time timing the tree. The truck was reacting faster then b4

Have you ever done any comparison runs with the tailgate up or down? I did it once when I found a track that would let me run with it down (Firebird is either up or off) - I ran one run up, two runs down, and one run up. I think the last run was the fastest, and all four were well within my usual spread of a few tenths on either number. I'd like to repeat it sometime, seeing as now I can get my truck to cut 15.7's very consistently, with the occasional 15.8 if I don't let it cool off...
Edit: One other thing, this might be an area where there is a difference between the long and shortbeds. Mine's a shorty...

Interesting. I want to try and get some more testing on it...won't happen for a while, seeing as I'm not gonna drive to Speedworld this week anytime, and Firebird doesn't like it...
Kinda a moot point for me, since I think my Quarter Mile Club wants runs at either Firebird or Speedworld only, though.
