My 68 Chevy has arrived
We just got the truck off the hauler. Here are some pictures.
This thing has a steel bed, Was that an option for 68 C-10 or was it a aftermarket add ? |

Re: My 68 Chevy has arrived
I'm pretty sure that's what they came with. The step sides came with wooden beds. I may be wrong though.

Re: My 68 Chevy has arrived
Steel floors were standard and wood floor was an option. It looks like a decent truck. What else can you tell us about it?

Re: My 68 Chevy has arrived
Right now.. only that the battery is dead and the headers melted 2 plug wires. AND SO IT BEGINS !!! My first trip to OReilly's !!
My focus will be to make it street legal for Texas to get it inspected and registered. The Emergency brake is not working so that will be Job 1. It has a 350 chevy and 3 speed on the column. The sides of the bed show some rust on the inside, not sure how to address that but that is not major at this point. |

lol.. Nope, I have my hands full with the truck.. I do know though both Mustangs were being delivered to a dealer in Sherman Texas. They were both in great shape.

Re: My 68 Chevy has arrived
Nice truck Rhamlin, I too have a 68 Longbed and unlike most, I have always preferred the longbed over the shortbed though I have owned both. I sure hope you keep it a longbed and don't go the route of many that convert theirs to a shortbed. Good luck with the truck and keep us updated.
