Nice truck, clean truck, but maybe you should take the For Sale sign out of the window and keep it for a little while. I liked the idea of a negative of the black Martinez truck.

Re: My short bed obsession continues........
out of those two choices slots, but i think a set of rallyes would look best painted white.

Re: My short bed obsession continues........
I can`t find the picture I have of a N.O.S. set I saw at a swap meet. They were chrome steel with kidney bean holes a bit smaller than in the aluminnyumz. There were also primered 8-lug ones sold found mostly on the rear of work trucks. They were cool looking.Cars ran the chrome ones.I know Rocket made them. This was`60s into early`70s like our trucks.

Keep the slots on the left side, and the white walls on the right side, Just kidding... I think slots are the lucky winners !

I may be a gray beard but I prefer staying in touch with the kid in me. The polished slots by all means over the caps n whites. I had a set of polished ET slots on my first truck in the 70s. Rene, let's hear a little more about that upcoming truck you hinted at.

Re: My short bed obsession continues........
The kidney beans (that`s what I call them when I`m hungry) look best just tossed on.The white rallyes would look great after a restoration.Something about the "beans" go right with the "as is" look, like it`s just always been that way.I`d like to see wider rallyes and a lower truck so it sits like a car (not slammed),but it either needs fresh paint or an aged look on the wheels as it sits now.If I was running the whitewalls and wheel covers I`d paint the rim red, like the old boys did,for an accent.I plan a set that way for my`67 (with a special secret touch I`ve had planned for about 5 years)
