GOLD RUSH SHOW (Lots-O-Truck pics)
2010 Gold Rush show in Oroville, CA. This was my first time attending this show and I will definitely be back next year, entry fee was only $10.00 and it included a goody bag and raffle tickets. Great downtown area for a show, perfect weather and nice folks. I snapped up as many truck pics as I could but also included a few nice car and motorcycle pics.......enjoy!

Only one word for the below truck "Insane"!!! the owner was flanked by people all day so it was hard to get a clear photo of it let alone ask him questions but I was lucky enough to hear this thing when it fired up and it sounded like it was going to take off right then and there. Here is what little info I was able to get on it. He's running a turbine Helicopter motor from some kind of helicopter drone they used to spy on Russian submarines during WWII and beyond. He said that it melted the interior carpets the first time he fired it up so had to run a bunch of heat shielding under the cab and various other locations. The gas tank and exhaust are located in the bed. It apparently runs pretty cool but get's lousy mileage and he is not certain what the horse power rating is but said top speed may be around 200+, I think the fastest he has gone in it to date is 110 MPH. It's still a new build so he is still shaking it down and working everything out. All I know is that when he fired this thing up, the crowd would start clapping and you could hear this thing for miles.......and yes he was parked right by "Miners Alley" hence the last photo...I have no idea the history on that little alley but I just felt the all metal sign to the entrance was photo worthy.

This truck belongs to board member EXTD56, he too was flanked by people all day asking questions about his truck so he was hiding out across the street. Super nice truck, super nice guy, he even took the time to pull out some nice photo albums from the back seat and show me tons of pics and was patient enough to answer all my questions about his awesome truck. Keep up the great work EXTD56......this truck was SWEET!
