Power brake booster to drums
Looking at the possibility of adding a power brake booster to drum brake set-up anyone done this?

It's done all the time. The factory had them from 67-70.

I just did it. I bought a used booster assembly off Ebay that included everything like the push rod, booster brackets, rods, rod end, etc. You need everything that allows you to mount the booster to the firewall and hook the rod up to the brake pedal, that is critical. I then purchased a rebuilt booster from Autozone and painted up the used brackets/rods and installed it all. You will have to install a 90 degree vacuum fitting in the intake and hook the booster up to it. Make sure it is full manifold vacuum. You don't even have to break open any brake lines. Just be sure that the rod coming out of the booster just barely bottoms out in the master cylinder bore. You don't really want any slack. If their is slack, then the pedal will end up going down a bit before the master cylinder piston even starts moving, causing you to have a crappy pedal and possibly insufficient piston travel.
