Ever made this mistake?

Have any of you made the mistake of selling the truck you dident realize you loved so much? Truely dont realize what you have till its gone. Well months ago i made the mistake of selling my 1978 Jimmy, thinking its only a truck and another will come around. Well truely dident happen, went from 5.0 mustang to a cummins, truely dident keep me happy as the jimmy did. Luckily saw the truck on craigslist, sold the diesel and bought it back the next day. Picked her up today, couldent be any happier

Any of you make this mistake?

Re: Ever made this mistake?

Yep sold the gray truck once. Didn't have it for 3 years. In high school she was OK, just really slow with 305/350 and I swear 2.00 rear end LOL. But she was load and I loved it. Bought it back 3 years ago and I'm much happier even though she just sits.

Re: Ever made this mistake?

Of the 10 cars ive owned since i got my drivers license i only regret selling one of them-my 1977 cadillac coupe de ville it was a high school graduation present from my aunt and it was a beautiful car.i drove it for about 2 months and then the apt i lived in at the time started giving me problems about the car so i was forced to sell it.i sold it to a friend who a week later sucked a valve into the motor and junked the car.one of these days i will have another one.the other ones ive sold i dont regret doing so as i didnt like the vehicle for one reason or another or just simply didnt really have any feelings for the vehicle.

Re: Ever made this mistake?

1986 I sold our 67 Vette Coupe for 10K because she wanted a new kitchen. It took about a year for me to feel the pain. Fast forward Thirteen years later and we bought it back for 26K! Appreciation plus a Frame Off Restoration makes me think I did well!! (It's in the garage up on a Lift as we speak). Al W.

Yes and it sits 2 miles down the road from me. I have tried to buy it back several times and the guy will not come off of it.

Re: Ever made this mistake?

I Bought my 1980 about 8 years ago, did a 1 year drive and repair, they 2 years ago I repainted it and sold it to a student who worked on it with. last month he called and asked if I wanted it back for 3 K less then I sold it for. I grabbed it and started the rebuild with a new batch of students, of course the budget is 3K. Here is a link to the build site from 2 years ago just before I sold it.
http://www.projectkillerbee.com/80gmc.htm My 71 is for sale as far as the wife thinks, course it will NEVER fetch the $2,000,000 price tag!!!

Re: Ever made this mistake?

There's a few I sold that I sometimes miss. I sold my S10 (didn't really want to), then bought it back about a year later for the same price and in better condition. I'm thinking about selling it again though... If I do, I know I'll regret it.
