I have two sets of tail light and backup light brackets with wiring, first picture the brackets are different then any i've seen but look factory, nice lenses and great wiring. $30 + shipping. Second pic has the brackets with nice lenses, wiring is there but rough. $20 + shipping. Both for $40 + shipping

Re: Stepside Tail lights and brackets

I'm interested in the first set. Could you please show a pic of the backside, and I need to know if the bulb sockets are in good shape also. Thanks, Greg

Re: Stepside Tail lights and brackets

Thanks for the pics. I need to know how bad is the surface rust on the back, will the nuts on back of the taillights come loose without breaking the studs, and how long are the pigtails. I ask this because they are going on the 68 in my avatar, and I need a pretty nice set. Also, the ones I currently have ,have a very short pigtail that doesn't make it under the bed. Sorry to be so long winded, but I just want to get it right. Thanks,Greg

The surface rust, is just a little surface rust, comes right off. I removed all the nuts and took everything apart. The pigtails are about 12" each and then the wiring they pug into that goes to the frame is roughly 30". When I was taking them apart I did see a splice on of the pigtails. Its very nicely done.
