need threads or pics
looking for treads or pics of 73-74 chevy trucks with a 86 or 87 front clips. I found a nice 74 3/4 ton 4X4 and was hoping to clip it with a 86-87 front clip. thanks Rick

Very true. There is one with a 87 front clip on it down the street from me for sale. I thout it was an 87 till I looked inside.

I agree it will look like an 86. Be more specific on what you are lookin for. My dually is a 74 with an 81 clip. But you wouldn't have known that if I didn't tell you.

What I'm looking for is any pics or threads that show any problems for putting a 86 clip on a 73 truck. I know from what I have been told you have to cut the cab for the hood hinges? I like the look of a 86-87 front clip and a 73 does not have to be smoged in california.
