Thanks, It was a long time coming! Does anyone know the best way to put the K5 decals on? I have to buy some and I'm hoping I don't have to take off the fender.

Thanks guys! I'm running 33" wild country tires on it right now. I plan on adding a 4" lift when I get a chance.

I found these online. They should snap the emblems in place...i don't know if they work well or not because i haven't bought them yet (i'll be painting my blazer in the next week or so). You might want to double-check the diameter of the pegs of the emblems but i'm pretty sure these will fit.

I just got my blazer back last week. I had the interior painted and spray in bed liner on the floor. I'm really happy the way that it turned out but this picture isn't the best. It's fun to get to this point, I just wish the weather would finally get sunny! It's been an awfull spring in Eastern WA!!!! Next on the list, getting the interior just right. I will take more pics of my progress over the weekend.

I'm getting ready to order a lift kit. I was thinking 2.5 inches. Does anyone recommend a certain lift kit? Any compnay to stay away from? Thanks!

I used a dewalt polisher with strip discs. It seemed to work pretty good going at the slower speed.

how about doing the lift with alcan springs???

I just purchase new suspension. A 2 1/2 inch Skyjacker, rear and front replacement springs and new shocks. I will post picks when I get it installed. Slowly but surely it's coming along.

Looks real good. Just did mine two years ago. For the other guy that asked. I didn't use bracing on my rocker box. Just left the top on and it stays in place. The a piller slouching back is the major issue. But the top holds the a and b piller in place while you work. Without a top you need to brace the door opening somehow before cutting the old metal out.

I have a mixed lift on mine. 4 inch rancho up from with ord extended shackles and poly everything. Rear 6 inch pro comp riding on 35s and 3/4 tons with disk conversion. Still not done and still not in as good a shape as yours. The 2 inch
Lift should get you a better stance and more than enough room on 33s.

I got half way finished on installing the new skyjacker 2 1/2 inch suspension lift. I have new springs for the front and rear as well as new shocks. As you can see by the springs the old ones were in desperate need of replacement. I should have this completed by early next week and will have more pictures then.

Lookin good. Make sure you replace the upper shackle bushings as well. It will tighten everything up in the suspension. Would be good to get new ones for their as having 40 year old upper bushings and new lowers on the spring may make it a lil sloppy. I just did mine with a ord shackle kit and it get rid of the small shackle and replaces the 7/16 bolts with half inch for better strength. My front hanger ones were shot too so I replaced those too for an extra few bucks with the kit. They have all of them I believe from daystar.

You make it look easy. I need to figure out how to adjust the body to let my doors open and shut more easily before I weld in the new repair panels.

That lift looks good. Blazers should have came stock with a two inch lift and 33s.

With the top on they usually are good to hold the door opening pretty good. If your front door seals are worn out it can let the front a pillar sag back some though. There are far more people than me that have done this that could help better. I put 2x4 in between the opening so when I cut the rocker out it didn't move. But I believe the top pretty much did the work to hold it in place good too. It's tough to Get things back in alignment after 40 years.
