Rear disc conversion for 1980 c10?

Been looking for rear discs for my 1980 c10, the kits I see are around 800 for basic setups. Are there any kits cheaper out there? Or is there a bettter way, maybe a different year chevys stock brakes? Thanks.

Re: Rear disc conversion for 1980 c10?

blackbirds has always had a good rep on here

also, you might check out captfab...he makes brackets so you can use stock calipers....this way you can buy it piece by piece as your budget allows

here's a link to most of his posts with different options that use camaro calipers, stock D52 calipers, impala ss calpers etc..
