Nice blazer and nice shop. I'm still amazed that there are so many 2wd's in the PACNW. I guess that's where I got the bug. I grew up in Washingon... Heck, I even flew to Washington to by my current 2wd. There was about 5 or 6 in the Longview Kelso area alone.

Standnawe, what are your plans for your Jimmy?
Bigblock68, awesome work! is that sub super shallow? or is your side panel set out further than it looks?

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.
Thanks Tarsands! Dusty...your rig looks good! I have a few mechanical items that need some immediate attention, but 4" lift, body mounts and stereo soon after. Going to drive it and enjoy it thru fall...need to accumulate a few parts...do the rust work and hopefully paint this winter. Thinking Sunburst Metallic or Atomic Orange...unless I can find something a bit cheaper in the same color range.

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.
Well, the old blue 72 got a make over through the winter. The new Blazer/Jimmy, has a new 67 front clip, built not bought 500 hp big block, 350 trans with a 208. Alot of work but well worth it.

Dustin,
Thanks! Here are couple more pics. If I get some time this weekend, I will try and take a few better pics of the cage for you. And yes, the original top still fits over the cage. |
