Re: s10 tpi q

I cant answer all these questions especially the S-10 body ones but I do know a little about the TPI setup.
If your 89 has the MAF sensor and it does not have any problems (runs well) then I wouldnt worry about changing the system over to a non MAF setup. You would need to change several parts to loose the MAF.
A speed density setup (non MAF) is a diffrent harness, computer and several sensors.
I bought a TPI setup without the harness or computer and I am going with the speed density setup. I hope I have all the parts now, the engine is out and the tranny in the shop so as soon as I get that back I will be putting it all together. I am tired of buying stuff I want to get it running
good luck

Re: s10 tpi q

You could probably re-locate the radiator inside the core support... I've seen that done on several V8 S10s... unless the thinner covette radiator will give you the clearance.
