Re: BigRed 81 crewcab dually
Thank you guy for the many texts and emails of great crewcabs in your areas.
I'm going tonight to look at the local 76crew which also comes with a donor shorbed truck no title. He's a friend of fellow board member tyler huff who ironically is also selling his 85 airbagged dually and slammed 79 2wd k5 blazer. Up until now I didn't have money to spend before selling my truck so I didn't want to be that annoying CL buyer without money, that everyone hates I found a sweet ride and possibly a new member to the forum down in tulsa here is a pic of his 89 crew with 454tbi recently shortened. Price is now $6k.http://tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/1772498901.html Last edited by BGRAFX; 06-29-2010 at 11:46 AM. |

Re: BigRed 81 crewcab dually
Borrow the rest and go get that bad mofo!
Just think about how much you would spend on buying a truck, finding all the parts you would need to shorten it, and possibly having someone do some of the work if you wernt able to.. it would probably be close to that price.. |

Re: BigRed 81 crewcab dually
KC to OKC and then to McAlester... not exactly a straight route there. I can make KC in 4 hours, through Joplin. But McAlester is probably a hard 1.5 hours south of me. Lots of turnpike though, which means good speed at least.

Re: BigRed 81 crewcab dually
It's not sold yet. Gonna finish putting it together and then we'll see. I'll probably want to keep it when it's put together but we'll see. You know money talks

Re: BigRed 81 crewcab dually
Scott is a funny guy today.
Called in Slick today huh? You're right my X gets all my money. she won't let me keep any money for myself. Hmm nothing changed from when we were married for 10yrs. Kinda ironic your comment about if I buy a new truck I will have a New bed to sleep in. Been there done that. Man divorce sucks. Thanks for reminding me. Lol She got the house and my other truck and I was forced to sell my business. At least I have beautiful kids and a hot new Girl that actually likes square body trucks. Of course she thinks I'm crazy for being on this forum with all you guys everyday. Lol |

Re: BigRed 81 crewcab dually
Ya I gotcha, that's why I said been there done that. I've slept in my trucks or suburban and dually many times. Lol cheaper then a hotel safer then a dui.

Re: BigRed 81 crewcab dually
I found him a 93 crew cab long bed for $1800.....
Chuck your absolutely correct, I wouldn't sell my CCSB for 10k....it would take much more to pay for the divorce, alimony, and child support. I'll keep it
