I'm gonna say '59 too. All of the 58 stuff has been addressed and I think (not positive) that 60s had painted headlight bezels.

I believe this is good karma, given a choice I always park next to someone who I can tell is a car guy like myself. I'm doing him a favor (giving him 50% door ding protection) and I believe he will do the same for me. Unless he was a real snob (I've heard some Corvette owners can be...) I'm sure his choice of parking spot was very deliberate, and a compliment. --steve

Car guys like to stick together. He knew your truck was obviously owned by a car guy.

Re: Can you believe this jerk parked next to me?
I will go with the fact that the Vette's hood is smooth, without the louvers, so I will say that it is a 1960. The tail end on a 60 is the same as the 58 and 59 models, and they have dual headlights. I have a buddy that has one.

Re: Can you believe this jerk parked next to me?
I look at it like this.... It could have been a FORD instead of a kick a$$ Vette! There would be no complaint from me!

overpriced, and over appreciated. No doubt they are nice cars but I'd take that truck over that vette, but that's just me. I don't like the pretentiousness that comes with vettes. I don't like camaro's or Nova's either. And yes, every corvette owner i ever met was a snob.

The 56/57 fenders are rounded on top, to match the single headlamp. 58/59/60 fenders are broader across the top, in order to accomodate the dual headlamps. You can also set the indent (feature) in the top of the fender. Trust me; you can tell. K

Re: Can you believe this jerk parked next to me?
That right there is a Chevy truck, with the Corvette option! I would bet he also owns the Z06.
