box question

i have a 81 GMC Sierra SWB 4X4 and the box is shot.... can i bolt on a newer box onto it without much hassle???? i was thinking 89+ shortbox, what do ya think???

89+ box does not look to good on these trucks!!

not a fan of the step side but love the look of the newer box... i think it would be the same, just put in 8 new bolts and wiring
