I need an air ride suspension kit!

So I'm ready to dive into air bagging my 68. My question is what is a good complete air suspension kit that will provide me with all peices I will need. I know there are some vendors that specialize in this on this forum and maybe someone can direct me to them. Thanks for your help.

Re: I need an air ride suspension kit!

What kind of budget are you working with? ($$$)
Do you have to rebuild the front suspension also? (balljoints, bushings, etc)
Does your truck have disc brakes already?

Give us a little more info.

Re: I need an air ride suspension kit!

It does have front disk brakes. This is more of a show truck and I don't take it out to often. I just need a basic set up that can make it go low but doesnt really need to lay frame. As far as replacing joints, etc, is that common when adding air? I want to be the setup and then find a shop to install for me. Thanks for your help.

I would look around in the suspension section.
x2 on the Porterbuilt suggestion.
He can fix you up with everything you need.
Since you have disc brakes,... I would also add drop spindles.
That's a cheap 2.5" of drop.

Porterbuilt is first rate. I bought much of my system from Suicidedoors and was very happy.

Re: I need an air ride suspension kit!

I went with ***************** for almost everything on my truck and it ran me something like $1500. There are a few other things im gonna add to the truck to get the front down a little more. Here are some pics from my build

I am hitting my diff on my bed, so the rear is as low as Im gonna get without mods. I had to notch the frame. The front is getting some tubular control arms, but I have 2.5" drop spindles, front bag brackets for the stock control arms, Slam Specialties bags, dual Viar compressors, dual 3 gal tanks, SMC 8 valve setup(1/2" valves), AVS switchbox, and some other crap, but I cant remember...
