72 c-10 rear end breakdown

looking for a thread that someone has done on a rear end breakdown and rebuild. searched with no luck. any help would be great. thanks daniel.

I rebuilt my differential a few years ago and put a new posi unit in while I was doing it. Here are some links I used. If you have any specific questions as you are doing the rebuild just ask. Take your time with this job. It can be expensive if you make a mistake.

i just did a full 12 bolt rebuild this weekend, gears, locker, bearings, everything. just fire away with any questions, i'll do the best i can to answer. i would recommend buying a richmond gear set, with the master series install kit, and the carrier of your choice. you will need a few special tools. but nothing major. it just takes time to get everything set up perfect.
