WTB: Wood floor cross sills.
Hey all.
I need to find both of the cross sills for a long bed wood floor that go before and after the wheel wells. If. Possible I could also use the last cross sill that goes right in front of the tailgate ( the big one that is tach welded to the bedsides) the ones on the truck I'm working on are rusted through. Prefer local, but will consider anything. Thanks! Shawn

Re: WTB: Wood floor cross sills.
I've got a complete bed you can come get for 100 bucks. Long bed with wood floor, well mostly rotted wood floor.
Looked to be all there. We did torch the bolts off so you may want photos and it will take about one or two weekends to get that. Located in or around College Station TX. PM for more information if you need/ want.

Re: WTB: Wood floor cross sills.
Those look like they will work. Just to make sure, there are three different ones right? The one on each side of the wheel wells, and I see the last one by the tailgate. Also, that is just surface rust right, it's not rusted out is it? I can't tell in the pics. If it's just surfce rust I can paypal you the money.
Thanks! Shawn

Re: WTB: Wood floor cross sills.
It is not rusted out or I would have thrown it away. I will take soem better pictures. Can you make sure from someone on the board the correct ones for the ones by the wheelwells, I believe they are the small ones but want to make sure and I don't have a truck with a wood bed at the moment.

Re: WTB: Wood floor cross sills.
Sorry I've been swamped at work. I know the thin one ( 1" tall) is the right one, and the back one by the bed end is correct. The one on the other side of the wheel well is identical to three of the other ones. The "pads" are 19" from the end of the sill. There is one sill that has the "pad" considerably less than 19". I need one of the 4 that is identical. Does that make any sense?

Re: WTB: Wood floor cross sills.
I think the other one that you are looking for are the ones in the far left in the picture.

Re: WTB: Wood floor cross sills.
I think the ones that you have the most of is the one that I need. Are the pads on those 19" from the ends? If they are it is the right one.

Re: WTB: Wood floor cross sills.
After looking again at the pics I am 99% sure that is one of the ones I need.
So I need: 1 end cross sill by the tailgate 1 of the short ones ( 1" tall) 1 of the ones out of the big stack (19" pad from the end)

Re: WTB: Wood floor cross sills.
I took a measurement and most of them are 19"from the edge of the pad to the end or 20" from the center of the bolt hole to the end.
