Slow Power Window
I recently replaced the motor in the passenger side door and also lubed the mech. with Lithium grease.
I also just replaced the driver's side window switch and the window is still very slow going up or down. I used all new stuff from GM I better add. What's next? Aside from getting married so the window will get used more! Thanks, Mike |

try lubing the channel with something not too greasy

Might replace the fuse in your fuse panel with one larger. Just a thought.

check the connections at the switches. i only say that because when i changed my switches it fixed most of my slow window problem. i know you changed your switches already but maybe its not getting the best connection. WITH THAT SAID I NEED TO ADD A QUESTION. what would be a good conductor type grease or something that would prevent a corosion at these swith plug connections. maybe that wi\ould fix everyones problem with these windows

Thanks for the replys Guys,
Dielectric grease is what to use and is avalible most anywhere. I know the connections are good on the one window switch I replaced (the driver's side) and I noticed that the new motor I put on actually slowed the window down. I will try some silicone on the rubber around the glass and let you all know. Thanks again, Mike |
