Diff. in 350 and 400 turbo trans mounts
Went to get a new transmission mount yesterday, and he couldn't look to see the part # on his computer [O'reillys] (strange, since I can see which one just fine at my house, for a 350 turbo)
Anyway, he brought out 3 to choose from. Put the 350 and 400 together, and could see no difference to speak of. Only 1.00 difference in price. Just curious how they are supposed to be different. |

Sometimes you will find dimensionally identical mounts with different part numbers because the hardness of the rubber is different. Normally, you can use the "wrong" one and never know it.
