Re: 63 c10 custom air bags f/b how to correct body roll
Wow if you share a air line for the front and back its the same as running each corner to the tank. You can work with having two switches And 8 valves or you can add more switches for each corner that's all up to you.

Re: 63 c10 custom air bags f/b how to correct body roll
Okay this thread sparked some thought, so to isolate the air transfer from one side to another with adding two valves to a 4valve-2switch system and just maintaining front/back control, i'd assume it could be done with a pair of 6 pin toggles since feeding off both ends of a 3 pin would bridge your main control valves. I've seen Carling 6pin switches but am not sure if the two side connectors feed each leg independantly to solve the problem with the 3pin switches.
My other concern was if one was to simply put a valve between the left and right bags (front and rear) and replace the 3pin switches with 6pin, would that remedy the air transfer. I'm on my first build up so I'm trying to learn as I go, but one other question I've thought about with shocks on a bagged truck would be the idea of using a softer shock in the rear since the bag pressure could be less due to the weight difference.....Just curious |
