slow cranking?
I had my wiring apart now im in the process of putting it all back together and im having some trouble. I connected my starter wires up and when i go to start it, it cranks really slow then slower then it clicks. I have a brand new battery and cables so somewhere i must not have all the wires hooked up. I have one wire that is green by the starter wires that i dont know where it goes. Also when the yellow wire branches into two for the starter and the coil lead. what do i do with the one for the coil lead because I now have HEI. Thanks

I don't think you're going to get any help until you settle your debt with slammed67!!! No one on here likes to be scammed!! Ask your high school buddies for help...see how far that gets you.

I agree.
Righteous indignation would cause you to dispute, in the most vehement terms, the request to pay. Since you don't dispute it, however, it seems apparent that you DO owe him the money. It's certainly safe to say that 69Chevyc10 has gotten $60 worth of HELP from the board members here so far. I propose that we don't offer him more assistance until he makes good on what he owes. Oh man.....this problem is almost a year old. Lets put this in perspective:
$60, 365 days, ...that works out to be less than $ 0.17 per day. ...A penny for every hour you're awake. ...$ 0.33 for every school day. ...$ 0.04 for every hour you're in school. This is of course without interest. Lets say it earns 2% return per financial quarter if he found some income growth fund that almost guaranteed it. After one fiscal year: ...$ 64.95 ...so lets see how big this gets, lets say...util 69Chevyc10 grows up and starts acting like a mature adult (10 years???): ...$132.48 My advice is to simply pay it now before Slammed67 starts charging you interest, but that's just me. You can do whatever you want.
