Guys, I need a little help here. Initially, I was going to go with a 22x12 rear wheel. Now, I'm leaning more toward a 20x12 or maybe 20x12.5. I don't really care about laying frame, but won't my truck to sit fairly low when it is aired out while parked. Now, I know it is possibly to do that with 22's. But, the most important reason being I am leaning towards the 20's are I want it to sit low and have a good, mean stance while at ride height and driving. It would have to sit higher with the 22's while driving as opposed to the 20's, right? What do y'all think? Am I correct in my analogy? Don't know if many have read and been following my build thread, but I will have Porterbuilts C4 front and C4 rear Dropmembers. With that being said, I want a little bit more performance out of the truck with the Corvette stuff and IRS suspension. Another reason to go with the 20's probably instead of the taller 22's.

Your real concern will be tire size.
The 20's will allow you to run the same height tire as a 22,... but with more sidewall.
I try to make sure the sidewall of the rear tire is the same size or bigger than the side wall of the front tires.
So,... what size front tires?
Also,... what height tires can you lay out with?

IMO a slightly larger wheel in the rear would give it an aggressive stance. You could split the difference and go 22 in the rear and 20 up front.

I'm not sure on the tire sizes yet if I go with 20's. Probably a 265/35/20 up front and a 315 or 325/35/20 out back. As far as laying out, I'm not experienced with it, but again, I'm not hell bent on laying rockers. I just want to get low. So, I assume I will go no lower than a 30 or 35 series side wall.

I'm after the exact stance your looking for.I've got 20x10 & 20x8 w/ 295/4020,245/4520 w/ thorbecke stuff front & rear. I've mocked up the bed to see how it looks.I think it's about right for me. Cant post pics from work I'll try to post some tonight.actual tire height mounted is f-28.5" / r-29"

68, these are ride height. I Hope this helps

There is about 6" between the axle & notch
