Re: Torq Thrust IIs in yesterday!!

That's the same size tires I want to go with when(if) I get 17s. You gotta get em mounted on your truck ASAP!!!

What width are the wheels? 8" all around or 8" in front and 9.5" in the rear?

Well I'll have them mounted on a completed chassis probably by the end of the weekend but i wont have the rest of the truck to put on it...except i might throw the bed on just to see I've got 8" all around

Well Discount Tire is one of their dealers so we talked to someone there and got them down to $215 a piece! They're all 4 in. b.s. with a 5x5 bolt pattern. I was initially planning on 9.5 in the rear but those would be "custom" wheels and would take like 8-12 weeks!! the 17x8s got here in just a week

Also, the rear is 29" overall while the front is 28" and they'll be with an ECE 4/6 drop

Re: Torq Thrust IIs in yesterday!!

Ok so I got the whole rear bolted up...if you look at the driver's side trailing arm on the last pic, you can see a bullet hole on the edge where someone shot through the bed! I thought it'd be cool to leave it.

David....although this is a nice picture of the frame....we wanna see the wheels!!!!...I can't imagine why you cannot get a side shot though....I mean it looks like you got plenty of room to do that j/k

I am truly thinking about going 5 lug with AR TTII's on my truck.....thanks for the inspiration and the possible dent in my check book

Re: Torq Thrust IIs in yesterday!!

Nice! I may be biased, but I think 17s are a perfect fit. You're front tires are a little taller than mine (255/50) and your rears are 1" shorter (mine are 275/60). Looking forward to seeing them on!
