Fighting NAPA pt2

Here is my update. I spent approx 4 hrs on the phone talking to 5 corporate personnel in Atlanta,GA. Finally my regional office here in Little Rock,AR calls. I am informed I got caught in the "schuffle" of one company manufacturer to another when I ordered the motor last year. The manufacturer would only put a 2 month warranty on the motors due to they was losing the account with NAPA. So NAPA was only putting on 1 year warranties on them. The motors I found out about were thrown together quickly at the last minute to sell to NAPA before the change. Finally corporate and regional has both agreed to give me the heads, valve kit, and the labor for free due to it was installed at one of their shops. I felt so relieved when they told me I wouldn't be paying labor for this. And they added on a additional year to the warranty. Thanks to everyone who told me to fight this. I did have my doubts and thought I would be fighting a losing battle. So, as one of you said "the squeeky wheel does get the grease".
Thanks again for all your help

It's good to hear of a company doing what their customer wants.

Do you know what that would have cost THEM on this site alone if they didn't do the customer right!!!

See, this is what happens when a company really cares about taking care of their customers. We all know every company isn't this way. I'll be sure to shop NAPA when possible... Of course, I'm a D.E.I. fan, so I would like to hang out at NAPA buying Penzoil while drinking Budweiser....Shameless

I'm glad things worked out for you TD, but Napa in the States must be different than Napa in Canada.

Most arrogant counter people and over-priced parts I have ever encountered, bar none.

Thank goodness I live in a large enough city that I have a choice.

That's just my opinion -- I could be wrong (apologies to Dennis Miller).

It looks like good things do come to good people.

I think this is a nice thing, and the right thing for NAPA to do. Bravo NAPA.
