Re: My new Toy-sadly had to sell my 87 though
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang that's a sharp car!!! (hopefully!!!!)
I don't know what you sold your truck for, but there's some pretty nice ones that show up on craigslist for under 3K (obviously not anywhere near as nice as yours, but clean and straight). You'll have another one before you know it

Re: My new Toy-sadly had to sell my 87 though
little update:
got the car in, and all is "dandy" to say the least!!! the underside looks like it was pretty close to a rotisere (sp?) restoration....all the brake lines and fuel lines are stainless, has all new GM body bushing, and A arm bushings, the high dollar Edelbrock IAS shocks all the way around, and come to find out it has multi leafs, w/ 12 bolt 3:73 posi!!, Z-21 trim package and its a X-11 Super Sport! the fool just put on z28 badges..why i dont know, the guy was a true and true mopar guy..didnt know squat about chevys...said his wife drove this one to shows, and he drove his Hemi ... .... the a/c even blows cold, no kiddin the paint is amazing to say the least, lots of metallic in it, but ya know, not as much as a speed boat or nuttin this baby was rust free, and has all original panels, exept for a right rear quarter that was brazed on, but done very well, no bondo in the doors or fenders at all the interior is awesome, just couldnt be any happier, and it runs like a smacked ape!

It looks and sounds as though you made out like a bandit! Beautiful automobile, that will do nothing but become more valuable. I'd have done the same thing!

Re: My new Toy-sadly had to sell my 87 though
Yeah, I saw the car was in, but I was curious if the truck had been shipped yet, or picked up.

Re: My new Toy-sadly had to sell my 87 though
Dude for that car I would be over Frank, the bike and my wife before they left the driveway. NICE!!!
Z28 badges, that's hilarious. Of all the cloned camaros out there you find one that's a true x-11 SS "de-cloned". Don't see that everyday!

Re: My new Toy-sadly had to sell my 87 though
The truck hasnt been picked up yet. I will know when it gets picked up because the broker will call me for his deposit. I knew that WV was going to be hard to get it shipped out of .All of the shippers told me that . I had the Broker add a little to my shipping offer to try to get it out of Kumars way. I hope it gets picked up this week . I am about as excited to get it as I am sure he was to get the 69.
