Nice truck! It's my opinion that 35" tires with only 4" of lift is too tight. This varies with total tire height and spring sag ofcourse. BFG tires usually run pretty darn close to thier stated size

Thanks Ken,

Good eye, they are Q78’s….pretty close to a 35.5 X 11.50. Most people never heard of Q78’s.

Sweet looking condo! I would love to build a crew cab.

Check out my L29 engine swap pics. The only thing I have left to do on this engine project (for now) is get my A/C lines made to allow the late model compressor to adapt to the old truck. Next year I will be adding gears, lockers, fuel injection, and a NV4500 5 speed. You know the story…the project will never be done.

I need to start hanging out here more often....I love seeing lifted Chevys

Here's mine. It's not much, but it's a start. Oh, and I'm running a 4" lift on 33" x 12.50" Super Sports, 350 w/ a 700R4 tranny, NP208 tc, 4.11 10 bolt rear. I just had a crack on the front frame welded up and will be putting a brace from offroading designs on soon. I'll be ready for the mud this winter! Now I just need to find some people around here to go with.

I am enjoying seeing all these nice vintage (and not so vintage) GM beasts. I am currently looking for a 67-72 GM 4X4 and I just don't know where to look. I am looking for something with a mild resto or a full resto done some years back (to keep the cost down).

I like what I see here though. I am used to lifted rigs because I come from the world of Jeeps. But I do appreciate full-size trucks.

Keep em' coming.

Cheers,
INKMAN

1FaastC-10...

I haven't seen the Apache yet but the "White Knight" I was thinking of can be found at www.whitknight.ca . It's a pretty bad ass beast and the site has a ton of cool pictures, videos, and info. I just found a picture of the rig I saw in one of the movie clips and now realize it's not Kruzer's, but it's still pretty cool...
