Finally out of paint jail!
After 6 months, the old girl is back where she belongs - I still have to take it back to fix the little stuff, but she's for the most part done - it turned out really nice.

Re: Finally out of paint jail!
Thanks! Unfortunately, as you can see, I already have a crack in one of the boards - I'm thinking I can seal it and paint it, 'cause it's only about a eighth to a quarter inch deep, but I was gonna get hold of Mar-k and see what they think. I don't want to take off the bed again if I can avoid it and it's gonna be garaged, so it won't be exposed to the weather much.

You don't see many black 67's. It looks really great with all of the trim too.

Re: Finally out of paint jail!
Dan, your baby will have a twin in a few months, my 67 is in the can for the same paint scheme! My floor is steel though, and I didn't know how hard it would be to do the wood overlay so they are going to just patch up existing bed and paint it black.

WOW! That looks sweet. Paint jail? If it only spent 6 months there that's just an probation...
