cab mounts for 77
I have checked around and looks like you can't get new cab mounts for a 77. Will the 81-87 mounts match up to my frame, or will I have to drill new holes?

Re: cab mounts for 77
Hmmm ... I just checked the LMC catalog and they're still showing cab mounts available for 73-80 in both OE style rubber and performance polyurethane.
I don't think the cab mount locations changed so you probably wouldn't have to drill any new holes to use 81-87 style mounts. Height might be a concern though. For example, 73-80 3/4 and 1 tons as well as 1/2 ton 4x4's used taller rear cab mounts than 73-80 1/2 ton 2wd or 81-87's. So spacers would be necessary to make 81-87 mounts fit those applications. |

Re: cab mounts for 77
the cab mounts are readilly available from several vendors . You must use the cab mounts compatible to your frame or the cab will not sit right
