Kinda expensive, but I haven't seen any others for our trucks. Thought someone might be interested...

They were just released this week. I doubt too many people have them yet. We are a dealer for EMS if anyone is interested in a set

I'm interested, but every time I get close to that amount, the truck needs something else! Seats got in the way this time, I'll start saving up again, or maybe Mrs. Claus will think of it

Re: Billet Hood Hinges

I agree. I understand quality parts aren't cheap, and I will definitely be putting these on my "Need" list. The stock hinges always seemed kinda flimsy. I wonder if they can be bought anodized?

Wow those are nice! But I think I have a few other parts to buy before I worry about those.

Nice! The price seems pretty reasonable for what they are. Fesslerbuilt makes some and i think they are a couple hundred more

Re: Billet Hood Hinges

Very nice indeed, and I mean that, but when you consider that a pair of GM hinges will set you back maybe $150/$160 and we know how long they last. I think you can safely say that the majority of the asking price on these is for looks alone, lets say $100 more or less in materials, Gas dampers probably adapted from something else & some machine shop time, well all this does not a pair of $600 Hood hinges make. To much is made of "Billet" the name has become a smoke screen for overpriced parts, they must be aimed at the C10 owner with the Ferrari as his daily. JMHO!

This turned into a bit of a rant....Sorry!

Re: Billet Hood Hinges

old thread...

went to order these today, and EMS said they will not fit with a heater blower motor....bummed

They said they bought a truck to modify their design to clear the blower motor, but won't be ready till November. I think they could have saved their money and had anyone on the board help them out!

Bringing this back up... did they ever get them to clear the blower motor?
What are the other USA made options?
