A new take on 3 points **updated with install pics**
This is just a teaser for now, away on business and won't be installing until next week .... but anyway.
I wanted to go to three points for safety in my '69, but I really dislike the look of the aftermarket styles, particularly the buckles. So I went out on a limb and I called Seatbelt Solutions (www.seatbeltsolutions.com) out of Jupiter, FL. I sent them a set of my original buckles, and this is what just came back in the mail: Bolts to original mounting points, uses aftermarket retractors and has correct 3 panel webbing. Total cost, with shipping both ways and buying buckles at the junkyard, $245. Would have been $30 less, but I had them go ahead and replace my buckle covers, pushbuttons and springs as well. Turnaround time was about 1 week. Definitely recommend these guys, for this kind of stuff or refurbishing. Quality is excellent. They even included the shoulder bolts for the upper harness bracket. Needless to say, I'm way happy with these and can't wait to get some installed pics!

Re: A new take on 3 points
Aren't the buckles supposed to be on the inside(short non-adjustable belts) and the inserts on the retractors?
They do look good though.

Re: A new take on 3 points
Normally this is the case, yes. In the later GM belts the inserts are adjustable and can slide, while the buckles are fixed. Since our buckles are the adjustable part, they simply reversed the positions.

They do look nice, and safety has to be a priority at all costs especially with family and children riding in our trucks.

Re: A new take on 3 points
Well, after much job-created delay, I finally got these suckers installed the other night. A few photos for all to enjoy.
I can't say if they would actually fit in the factory mount points, since both of my outer floor pans long since were hack repaired and I just located them as close to the rear of the cab as possible then reinforced the floor.

Re: A new take on 3 points
Since I've recently found out that factory shoulder harnesses were actually available, does anyone have a pic of a truck with factory belts?
