Nice 70 CST on E-bay

This is a very nice truck but i see a couple of things that i think aren't correct.

He says the seat has never been covered and the only metal replaced was the passenger rocker panel.

First, the seat cover--didn't only 72 come with the design around the edges like that?

Second, the mirrors--aren't those only on 67-68 in that style?

It may belong to a member on here and I'm definitely not knocking it.

The scroll in the truck that is for sale looks very close to my seats. After completing the resto on my 70cst...that price is not that out of line. I would want to see it in person before I spent that kind of money...I agree that is a very nice looking truck

It originally was a white / dark olive / white truck - not solid green. The fuel pump to carb line has been cut and a filter added. The booster / master cylinder doesn't look original.
I'd like to see pictures of the underneath of it. Not a bad truck at all - and the inside of that bed is amazing!

Re: Nice 70 CST on E-bay

I know the guy who is selling this truck - actually he's the man that just finished painted my '69 frame off truck. He bought the truck in Nashville earlier in the summer to re-sell. This truck is amazing! He let me drive one afternoon while he was working on my truck. Whoever restored the truck earlier put chrome mirrors on it (correct style, however) and put 396 emblems on it. I told the guy that the motor is a 402 but I don't think he believes me since it says "396" on the SPID. I inspected the truck real close and it is a real SWB big block truck. Drives like new with cold A/C and AM radio plays. The truck looks ever better in person!
