Dip Stick
I feel stupid asking this but... how do i get the dip stick sleeve out? I broke part of it off and need to get the rest off to replace it.

Mine has a 7/16" bolt right under the manifold into the side of the blaock. After taking it out it's a matter of pulling it out. It's a tappered fit into the block on mine.

i just use visegrips and yank or hit them to remove from block

if its broke off flush your options are pretty limited. i'd try to screw in a bolt or a tap to get a bite on it and pull it straight out. careful with a tap, if you bend it very much it will snap off in there and things just went from bad to worse. if its still got some sticking out some good ol vise grips should do the trick.

If you can't grab it with vise grips try bending it in a little with a small screw driver or chisel, lightly tap toward center and try grabing it with needle nose.
