Installing a '97 G-body LT1 into my '71 cheyenne super..Will the big block engine mounts work? Is there a mount I can get from lmc or any other after market source?

Re: lt1 engine mount help
you can use the regular small block mounts or the 6 cylinder mount to move it back some

Re: lt1 engine mount help
Thanks for the info, got the truck without the 402 and mounts only had the perches on the crossmember. Just ordered perches and mounts from classic perf. products....

Re: lt1 engine mount help
I just used the big block frame stands with small block engine mounts on the engine on my '71 GMC with a '95 LT1 and it worked fine!!! Just had to use a big thick washer on the bolt holding the engine mount in!
