4x4 front drums
HELP FAST. Who sells new front drums for a 1/2 ton 4x4,6 hole.

I got a full set of front and rears at the local autosupply. I use NAPA. Their countermen can actually look stuff up with a parts book, imagine that. But I'm sure that you can get them at Checker, Autozone etc.

Thanks, Is the front drum and hub housing all one unit? Or are they separate- can be separated??

No, it's only the drum. Once you back off your brake adjuster, you should be able to pull off the drum. Sometimes they can be a bugger, just be patient.

I just found out that my Dad specal ordered the truck new and it does have one piece drum/hub housing, drums. He ordered them from JC Whitney I think. The truck is on the rack at the brake shop in pieces and the owner is scrambling to find a replacement too.
I looked on the JC website- no help. I'll have to call them direct tomorow. Just wondered if anyone on here has ever heard of them and where I can find one. Thanks again for the responses. |
