2 Hole Dash Panel Anyone?

Does anyone know where I can find a steel or aluminum 2 hole dash panel? I'm trying to run something like these gauges on my 72 and I keep hitting deadends. I can find the six hole variety all day long just no 2 hole.

That got me from 6 down to 3. Getting warmer. I could always do the above setup with a 3 3/8" Tach which wouldn't be too bad.

Re: 2 Hole Dash Panel Anyone?

I was doing the panels and I saw your post on my thread. I could do the panel but right now all my machines are tied up on a huge 3 year contract and it will be months before I free a machine up. If you are not in a hurry, I could do the job in a 3-5 months.

A while ago, I saw a post on here where someone used a Glove Box Door, modified it and used it for their instrument panel. If you have some fab skills it dose not look all that hard to do.

What he said, use a glove box door it's the same size just drill holes and cut out for the steering column.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: 2 Hole Dash Panel Anyone?

What I done was cut out an 18g steel peice to fit neatly into the centre of the panel then cut the holes where I wanted and got rid of any plastic that got in the way, welded small studs in the back to attach it to the plastic, sprayed the outer peice with silver paint and the steel panel with a wrinkle finish paint

Finally...someone who knows how to MAKE something instead of just throwing money at it. Nice work, AusMarty!
