Vintage Ansen Slots
I've had a set of 16.5x10 Ansen slots in the rafters of my garage for years. I used to run them before I went back to wide steelies. Anyways, took them out, polished them up, slapped some tires on them, and mounted them on the Blazer. I will probably run them for a while until I get the urge to throw the steelies back on. I'm fickle like that. Anyways, here are some pictures.

That thing just gets better and better! Your truck is pretty much exactly how I want mine set up appearance wise. Except mine will be red. I also have 2 sets of wheels for mine..

Looks good. Change can be good, and so is the ability to change back when ever you want.

Re: Vintage Ansen Slots
RED72blazer - Thanks. It took a long time and a lot of junkyard and classified scrounging to get to this point. But that is 3/4 of the fun.
Bouncytruck - I like to make changes that can be changed back. Keeps me from making too many irreversable bad decisions. However I did make one bad decision that is not so easy to undo - the diamond plate. I'm getting ready to strip the diamond plate off the lower sides. I want to have the body color continued above and below the trim line like stock. I keep pictures of your Blazer handy to remind me how good a truely stock unit looks. |

Re: Vintage Ansen Slots
Those look awesome! I'm running the same thing on mine, just not as shiny yet. Got to get the polishing done once the paint is done.
