Pro Stock '65 Truck Chassis on Craigslist

Craigslist 1939819381 in Tampa (Largo), Florida...not mine, but looks like a nice piece. "Custom built by Ray Miller Race Cars, tubbed and fully boxed frame. 12 bolt Chevy rear end narrowed with 30 spline Moser axles, c-clip eliminators, double adjustable AVO coil overs hung on a 4 link, front end has DJM powder coated upper and lower control arms with a 5" drop, Wildwood rack and pinion and disc brakes, 15" Centerlines up front and 22.5 X 33 Mickey Thompson Sportsmans on back. This chassis is currently set up for a big block Chevrolet and was built for a '65 Chevrolet long bed truck. Matt 727 215-5974 $2500

Re: Pro Stock '65 Truck Chassis on Craigslist

any idea how much work would be involved in modifying that to fit a short bed truck?

Re: Pro Stock '65 Truck Chassis on Craigslist

From what I can see in the photos it appears to be a stock chassis that was "back halved".

If so, it would be much easier to do the same to your shortbed chassis than to attempt to cut this one down.

p.s. Isn't the 12 bolt car rear end a bit of blasphemy in a truck? LOL

The whole frame has been boxed and it has rack and pinion steering.
