Question Blazer/Suburban Filler Neck on truck

I've searched high and low and I haven't seen any info in this. Has anyone installed a Blazer tank in a truck and used the Blazer filler neck, and in-bed cover? I'm looking to do this to my truck, but I'm not sure if this will work with the wood bed floor. I need to install a new floor anyhow, so if I need to move cross sill, etc, I'd be interested in knowing before ordering a wood kit.

How about a Suburban filler neck and body side cove?

I'm still going to use this truck as a truck, so the filler through the bed floor is not an option for me.

Re: Blazer/Suburban Filler Neck on truck

Most want something a bit cleaner than the Blazer/Burb gas filler. It just looks like a truck filler in a different spot.

I'm on board with ya. For a work truck, I think your idea would be great! It would look better than the cut in square doors used on most of the vintage saddle tank installs. It looks just fine on burbs and blazers, so why not?

Re: Blazer/Suburban Filler Neck on truck

I am not sure what a blazer or suburban filler neck looks like exactly but on my 71 there is a bed side fill cap that looks like a burb fill from what I know. It is just located towards the front. I will get some pics for you today since I am in the process of removing the wood floor to install a steel floor. I don't plan on getting rid of the filler neck because I use the bed too it only has a 15 gal tank.
