700r4 help (not adjusting tv cable)

Really need yer guys help...
Ok I just installed a new to me transmission I don't know who pulled it out but I had it rebuilt while my old one was still working. Sp I get it in the truck tighten everything that needed it go to adjust the tv cable and when its open to WOT the cable sticks I can get it to spring back in place if I loosen the bolt and touch the cable at the transmisssion what could be wrong bent tv link tv cable bad or something inside?

How does the tv link attach at the valve body can I get to it if I drop the pan

The TV cable has a small hook on the end. The end connects to the valve lever. http://www.tciauto.com/Products/Inst...ble_adjust.htm
