There is a few trucks on here that have been primered for quite a while I think it looks cool because paint may look good now but a few years from now it'll be scratched and faded especially on a dd I'm cool with partial primer on my truck but that's cause I'm cheap haha

Looks good to me, and scratches are a thing of the past, I used to carry a can of primer in my 77 and when i got a big scratch or something, instant touch up on the spot and drove off while it was wet. worked good, no rust!

I would have to say that I don't like 73-80 body-styles primered but I can say that the 81-87 body-styles look pretty BA like that! (No offense if your 73-80 is primered)

hey whats your specs as far as lift and tire size go?

hey thanks guys....my lift is a 4 inch rough country and 35 inch bfg mud terrains

Cool, I got a 6" on 38.5x11 boggers right now and was thinking of going to a 35 but I guess I would have to lower it back down a little. These things can clear some big tires pretty easily.

ya man....ive liked these trucks for years...chevys were always hard to come by...i had a couple when i was a kid, but after that it was hard to pick them up...but gonna have this one a while i think

Wow that four inch rough contry lift really raised it up. I used a four inch procomp lift with ORD HD greasable shackles and it clears 35's easily but not like yours does. I figure between the lift and the shackles it was about 4.5-5 inch lift. One thing i like about the shackles is the angle on the front drive shaft isnt very extreme. Yours looks great BTW. Love those BFG MT's. Yours looks like it could clear 37's,

wow I think they sent you the 6 inch kit our 86 didn't raise that much with the rough country 6 inch kit and we had 33's and had less clearance then yours does I think with 35's!!!!!!!
