I got the AM\FM blues!!!

Has this ever happened to anybody? One day it was working fine and today i looked down and saw this. If i turn the radio on all i get is static. Just wondering if this is an easy fix?..........Jason

Jason, are you converting your am/fm to digital? Never seen an am/fm without the scrolling drum before. Trevor

No, I have no idea what is going on. It has always looked liked this pic, just a normal am/fm.Then all of a sudden, today I go to turn on the radio and the above pic is what I see. I have never seen/heard of this before and I am very confused.

It looks like your spring broke and that is the back side of the roll drum
