bad thing is, is that the poor guy thought that parking it at a "secured" airport parking lot was safe.

if a theif wants your truck, your pretty much screwed, but you CAN make it more interesting for him by installing:
fuel shutoffs
electrical shutoffs
battery cutoffs
a club
a pedal lock
a steering wheel removal system
a lojack
an alarm

or if your real industrious:
remove the distributor cap
a 95 pound Rottweiler

as stated previously, watch out for those trucks!!

I was looking for a keyed fuel line shut off but so far no luck. I was told the Corvettes use them.

Well, it won't stop them from pushing it up on a trailer, but I have a fuse to my coil in the fuse box. If I ever leave it somewhere I''m not sure about, I pull the fuse. It'll crank all day and never start.

What i was told to do is buy a GPS tracker and locater and put the tracker hidden in the truck so when they take it just turn your GPS on grab a couple of your buddys and go get your truck back, that seemed like a good idea to me lol. I hate people like that! I leave my truck in a shed but that wont stop anyone either anymore. I have been trying to think of ways to make it harder to steal, theifs dont want a hard target with a lot of attention, if you make it hard chances are theyll usually leave it alone but doesnt stop all of them. I hope they find them an get what they have coming to them.

Watching from Down South. It is bad for everyone in the long run. Insurance rates change due to this stuff.

Da**. And you'd think it would be a tad safer at the airport. Was the parking tag in it as otherwise they are supposed to have trouble getting it out.

I too run a switch on my HEI dizzy that will keep it from firing. I plan for my MSD box firing my LSx to use the same hidden switch (round, flat rocker style)... which even I have a hard time finding.

Nice truck, supposedly unmolested with no rust and original chalk marks on the firewall. Probably in a thousand pieces by now. Thieves suck.
